Job summary

Employee Magnets is seeking a QC Inspector to inspect, test, and verify customer devices within Whole-Unit-Repair. You will perform visual inspections for assembly issues, test software/hardware across Windows platforms and ChromeOS, and verify detailed documentation for each unit.

The role requires the ability to operate under pressure, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred in business or CS.
• 0–1 year experience in repair depot or quality control.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience working with Temp Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections for assembly issues, missing screws or labels and defective plastics.
• Test software/hardware (Windows variants and ChromeOS as noted).
• Verify documentation including traveler forms, unit verification, problem descriptions and accessories.
• Overtime availability and Saturdays work are required.

Summary

The QC Inspector is responsible for the inspection, testing, and verification of various customer devices within the Whole-Unit-Repair

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.

• Performing Visual Inspections (Assembly issues, Missing screws, Missing labels, Defective plastics)

• Performing Software/Hardware testing: (Windows (7,8,8.1, 10, & Enterprise) and )ChromeOS

• Performing Documentation Verification (Traveler Form and physical Unit Verification, Customers Problem Description, Technicians Repair Action, Presence of Accessories)

• Must be available to work overtime hours and additional hours are expected on Saturdays

Qualifications

Educations or Experience or Demonstrated Skill Set

• High school graduate or equivalent. Prefer college degree in business or computer science.
• Should have 0 1 year experience in repair depot or quality control fields.
• Basic knowledge of Windows based operating systems is required.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with Temp Agency

Essential Skills:

• Must be able to remove devices from packaging and repackage without causing damage.
• Must be able to transport devices between departments and to outbound shipping stations.
