Job summary

Employee Magnets is seeking a QC Inspector to inspect, test, and verify customer devices within the Whole-Unit-Repair process. You will handle visual inspections, software/hardware testing on Windows/ChromeOS, and thorough documentation verification.

Overtime and Saturday shifts are expected in this role. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (business or CS degree preferred) and 0–1 year in repair depot or quality control, with basic Windows knowledge and a hands-on, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred in business or computer science.
• 0–1 year experience in repair depot or quality control.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with temp agencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing Visual Inspections (assembly issues, missing screws, missing labels, defective plastics).
• Performing Software/Hardware testing: Windows and ChromeOS.
• Performing Documentation Verification (Traveler Form and physical Unit Verification, Customers Problem Description, Technicians Repair Action, Presence of Accessories).
• Must be available to work overtime hours and additional hours on Saturdays.

Summary

The QC Inspector is responsible for the inspection, testing, and verification of various customer devices within the Whole-Unit-Repair

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.

• Performing Visual Inspections (Assembly issues, Missing screws, Missing labels, Defective plastics)

• Performing Software/Hardware testing: (Windows (7,8,8.1, 10, & Enterprise) and )ChromeOS

• Performing Documentation Verification (Traveler Form and physical Unit Verification, Customers Problem Description, Technicians Repair Action, Presence of Accessories)

• Must be available to work overtime hours and additional hours are expected on Saturdays

Qualifications

Educations or Experience or Demonstrated Skill Set

• High school graduate or equivalent. Prefer college degree in business or computer science.
• Should have 0 1 year experience in repair depot or quality control fields.
• Basic knowledge of Windows based operating systems is required.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with Temp Agency

Essential Skills:

• Must be able to remove devices from packaging and repackage without causing damage.
• Must be able to transport devices between departments and to outbound shipping stations.
