Zing Recruiting is seeking two QC Chemistry Technicians to join a fast-paced, high-throughput QC laboratory in Newark, DE. This hands-on role focuses on real-time quality testing and in-process analysis in a GMP environment.

You will perform wet chemistry and analytical testing, use GC and LIMS, and enter data while supporting production lines on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule onsite.

Qualifications

• Previous GMP laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine in-process wet chemistry and analytical testing.
• Test samples from multiple production lines approximately every two hours.
• Enter test results into LIMS (SoftTrace) and complete paper documentation.
• Provide real-time test results to Production and Operations.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and comply with GMP procedures.
• Support multiple manufacturing processes including dryers and coating operations.
• Communicate promptly with Production regarding test results and process changes.

Job description

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shifts

We are seeking two QC Chemistry Technicians to join a collaborative Quality Control laboratory supporting a fast-paced, high-throughput manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on laboratory position focused on real-time quality testing and in-process analysis. The ideal candidate has previous GMP laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment where testing results are needed quickly to support manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and in-process wet chemistry and analytical testing
• Test samples received approximately every two hours from multiple production lines
• Perform testing such as:
  • pH
  • Conductivity
  • Viscosity
  • Particle size and sieve analysis
  • Dry analysis
  • GC and other analytical instrumentation
• Provide real-time test results to Production and Operations to support process adjustments
• Support quality testing across multiple manufacturing processes, including dryers, spray dryers, coating operations, and packaging lines
• Enter test results and required information into LIMS (SoftTrace)
• Complete required paper documentation for packaging and deposit data prior to LIMS entry
• Follow GMP procedures, safety requirements, SOPs, and site quality protocols
• Communicate promptly with Production regarding test results and potential process changes
• Maintain accurate and timely laboratory records

Schedule

This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule, including both days and nights:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Alternating day and night rotations
• Approximately 48 hours one week / 36 hours the next
• Mix of 3-day and 4-day work stretches
• Extended time off built into the rotation, including a 7-day stretch off
• Every other weekend off
• Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break per shift

Qualifications

• Previous GMP laboratory experience required
• Laboratory experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or other regulated environment preferred
• Experience with wet chemistry and/or analytical testing
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as GC is a plus
• Experience with LIMS preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow SOPs and established procedures
• Receptive to feedback and willing to continuously learn
• Ability to work onsite and remain productive during 12-hour shifts
