Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a QC Chemist I to support quality systems in the manufacturing and testing of cGMP drug products.

The role includes performing analyses of APIs and excipients, operating analytical instruments, and ensuring data integrity. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline and 1–3 years of pharmaceutical testing experience, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• 1-3 years pharmaceutical or testing experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong communication with management and regulatory agencies
• Ability to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasks
• Perform analyses of APIs and excipients
• Operate HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis instruments
• Review data for accuracy and GMP/GLP compliance
• Generate reports and evaluate data

Responsibilities

• Support quality systems related to manufacturing and testing of cGMP drug products
• Provide general laboratory support for raw materials and excipient testing used in the finished product
