Job summary

DBO, LLC seeks a Quality Control Lead to supervise QC Inspectors in a precast duct bank production area. You will oversee inspections, testing, and documentation to meet engineering specs, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

You will mentor QC staff, drive corrective actions, and maintain quality records while supporting continuous improvement and defect prevention across the production line.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of quality control experience in precast concrete or related industries.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Control Inspectors assigned to a designated production area.
• Ensure all precast duct bank products are inspected in accordance with approved quality control procedures and project specifications.
• Conduct final acceptance inspections prior to product release and shipment.
• Investigate quality concerns and determine root causes of defects or non-conformances.
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and technical guidance to QC personnel.
• Train and develop Quality Control employees on inspection techniques, company standards, and quality procedures.
• Assist management with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Ensure all quality records are maintained accurately and retained according to company requirements.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address recurring quality issues.
