Job summary

VARITE is seeking a QC Associate II for an onsite role in Fremont, CA. The contract duration is 6 months with possible extension, and compensation is $33.03-$35.39 per hour on W2. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences and US work authorization.

As part of the QC Phys-Chem Testing team, you will perform routine and non-routine testing, maintain labs, ensure cGMP/cGDP compliance, and document results with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or Life Sciences required.
• GMP experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of industry experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate routine and non-routine testing of bulk drug substance, final finish products, and raw materials.
• Perform laboratory operations independently including UV-Vis, QPCR, FTIR and compendial testing.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and materials, dispose of expired reagents, and report anomalies.
