Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Sanford, NC, seeks a Group Leader for QC Analytical to oversee routine and non-routine testing of pharmaceutical products and materials in a GMP environment.

You will manage the use of UV-VIS, HPLC/UPLC, TOC, pH, osmolality and related instrumentation, while ensuring documentation accuracy and team development. Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with potential weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 2+ years in a laboratory environment (QC preferred).
• Hands-on experience with analytical testing and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring staff in a GMP lab.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine and non-routine analytical testing in a GMP QC lab.
• Review and approve GMP documentation (test records, methods, reports).
• Coach and develop direct reports; monitor workflows and time entries.
• Implement operational improvements and ensure compliance.
