Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Senior QC Analytical Chemist Group Leader to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs and stability samples. You will lead a 3–5 person team and drive investigations, method transfers and validations.

Role requires strong GMP/GLP experience, leadership skills, and proficiency with analytical techniques (NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, UV-Vis, TGA). Per shift schedule in Albany with excellent full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with GMP/GLP experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech setting.
• Minimum 3–5 years of GMP/GLP testing and leadership experience.
• Experience with LC, GC, NMR and at least two of ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing of pharmaceutical samples (in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, stability).
• Oversee method transfer, qualification and verification studies.
• Investigate OOS, OOT and invalid results and drive CAPA.
• ment and join client and internal teams as a point of contact.
• Support reference standard qualification and management.
• Ensure adherence to GMP/ICH and regulatory guidelines.
