Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Scientist II - QC responsible for testing raw materials and pharmaceutical products. Key duties include performing chemical analyses, documenting results, and participating in method transfers between facilities.

A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science is required, while a Master's degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong background in analytical techniques and laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more experience in testing chemicals/pharmaceutical products with a Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year or more experience in testing chemicals/pharmaceutical products with a Master's degree.
• Ability to perform physical analysis using complex techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare samples for analysis and maintain laboratory records.
• Participate and lead investigation of out-of-specification results.
