Job summary

Coating Place, Inc. in Verona, WI is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist Level 2 (Analytical Development) to support Production and Formulations by analyzing compounds and samples. Training occurs on 1st shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The role emphasizes adherence to cGMPs and USP/ICH/FDA guidelines, with experience using analytical equipment and basic Empower software. A sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Understanding of USP, ICH, and FDA guidelines.
• Experience with analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, and/or dissolution).
• Ability to manage time and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to SOPs, analytical methods, protocols, and regulations.
• Analyzes a variety of compounds and complex sample preparations.
• Assists with method feasibility, validations, transfers, and verifications.
• Basic understanding and use of Empower software.
• Drafts and edits internal procedures and specifications with supervision.
• Analytical lead on projects with supervisor guidance.
• Maintains QC analytical instrumentation and documents results.
• Communicates with Production, Formulations, and QA as needed.
• Maintains organized QC laboratory and cGMP documentation.
• Lifts/carries up to 55 lbs as required.
