Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Technician – QC – IAPI to perform accurate analytical testing of routine lab samples, participate in SPV, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced GMP environment. The role supports HPLC, UPLC, and GC methods, with an emphasis on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Required an associate degree in science or 5+ years GMP lab experience, strong math and documentation skills, and the ability to work night shifts in a regulated lab

Qualifications

• Associate degree (2 yr College degree) in a science field related to the lab or 5+ years in GMP lab.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office products, LIMS, etc.
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and safety considerations.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong math and documentation skills including sample prep and data review.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced analytical lab running HPLC, UPLC and GC methods.
• Sponsorship: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely perform analytical test methods and ensure results meet standards.
• Perform data entry and review own work for accuracy per GMP requirements.
• Recognize deviations and initiate investigations.
• Verify (SPV) analytical data of other analysts as required.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in daily work.
• Troubleshoot equipment and methods as required.
• Train and mentor others in the lab.
• Notify management when required by procedures or standards.
• Perform routine equipment qualifications/calibrations and maintenance.
• Participate in laboratory investigations.
