Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Technician – QC – IAPI to perform accurate analytical testing of routine lab samples in a GMP environment. You will participate in SPV of data, support investigations, and help identify improvement opportunities.

The role requires an associate degree in a science or 5+ years of GMP lab experience, and you must be able to work the NIGHT shift on a 12-hour, 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule, with PPE and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years GMP lab experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LIMS.
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and safety requirements.
• Strong math and documentation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HPLC, UPLC and GC methods.
• Sponsorship: authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical tests and ensure results conform to standards.
• Enter data and review own work for accuracy.
• Recognize deviations and initiate investigations.
• Verify (SPV) analytical data for others.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in daily work.
• Troubleshoot equipment and methods as required.
• Train and mentor lab staff where applicable.
• Notify management when required by procedures or standards.
• Perform routine equipment qualifications/calibrations and maintenance.
• Participate in laboratory investigations.
