Job summary

HM STAFFING SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a Quality, Safety & Training Coordinator to drive quality, safety, and workforce training across active data center sites. Lead QA/QC inspections, safety compliance, and onboarding for new hires, partnering with field supervisors and project teams to uphold high standards.

The role emphasizes training delivery (e.g., certifications) and continuous improvement, ensuring zero-harm safety culture and operational excellence on multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, telecommunications, or data center environments.
  • OSHA safety standards knowledge and construction methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication to collaborate with field teams, supervisors, and client reps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn QA/QC and safety software.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Quality Assurance through inspections and audits.
  • Perform daily inspections of cabling, pathways, grounding, containment, and equipment.
  • Manage QA/QC documentation, checklists, punch lists, and closeout packages.
  • Track quality metrics and drive timely resolutions with site leadership.
  • Review and archive electronic test results and project quality records.
  • Own Safety Compliance with daily JHAs and toolbox talks.
  • Conduct daily safety walks to verify OSHA compliance.
  • Monitor PPE usage, equipment certifications, and safe practices.
  • Document investigations of near misses and incidents; drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain site safety documentation including permits and logs.
  • Drive Workforce Training: onboarding, technical training, and matrix maintenance.
  • Deliver refresher sessions on QA/QC standards and safety practices.
  • Partner with leadership to foster continuous improvement.

About the Role

Are you passionate about raising the bar for quality, safety, and workforce training in mission-critical environments? We’re seeking a driven Quality, Safety & Training Coordinator to support the delivery of world-class data center infrastructure projects.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence—verifying installation quality, reinforcing a zero-harm safety culture, and coordinating the training that keeps our teams performing at their best. You’ll partner closely with field supervisors, project managers, and technical teams to maintain compliance, strengthen execution, and drive continuous improvement across multiple active job sites.

  • Champion Quality Assurance
  • Perform daily inspections of structured cabling, pathways, grounding, containment, and equipment installations to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and BICSI/industry standards.
  • Manage QA/QC documentation, including checklists, punch lists, test result collection (Fluke/OTDR), and closeout packages.
  • Track and report quality metrics, identify deficiencies, and collaborate with site leadership to ensure timely resolution.li>
  • Support the Doc Control team by reviewing and archiving electronic test results and project quality records.
  • Own Safety Compliance
  • Conduct daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks to embed a proactive safety culture.
  • Perform regular safety walks to verify adherence to OSHA standards, client safety policies, and company procedures.
  • Monitor PPE usage, equipment certifications, and safe work practices to prevent incidents.
  • Document and support investigations of near misses, incidents, and safety observations, driving corrective actions to completion.
  • Maintain site safety documentation including permits, inspection logs, and compliance reports.
  • Drive Workforce Training
  • Coordinate and track onboarding for new hires, ensuring completion of safety orientation and site-specific training.
  • Schedule and support delivery of technical training (e.g., BICSI certification, Fluke/Viavi testing, OEM product training).
  • Maintain a comprehensive training matrix and track certification renewals.
  • Deliver refresher sessions on QA/QC standards, company processes, and safety best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to build a “right the first time” mindset and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, telecommunications, or data center environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, quality control principles, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with field teams, supervisors, and client representatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to quickly learn QA/QC and safety software systems.
Preferred:
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • BICSI Installer I/II or equivalent low-voltage systems background.
  • Experience with Fluke/Viavi test equipment and interpreting/documenting results.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Experience coordinating training programs and maintaining personnel certification records.
