Traylor Industrial seeks a Project QA/QC Manager to lead quality on complex construction projects. The role requires broad knowledge of crafts, inspection, testing, and QA/QC plans.

The Project QA/QC Manager is a member of the project management team, is able to work with minimal corporate supervision and takes the lead role in managing project quality. He provides primary technical support to all team members and the crafts by managing the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and by research/answering questions of a technical nature. This position requires the incumbent to develop thorough knowledge of the project scope and schedule as they apply to QA/QC.
Candidate should have a four‑year engineering, science (and at least two years in a QA/QC position); or an associate degree in engineering technology or science plus four years experience in a related construction field with at least two of these years in a QA/QC position; or a high school graduate or equivalent (OED) plus ten years experience in a related construction field (at least four of these years in a QA/QC position). Candidate must have broad working knowledge of all crafts and their associated special processes, inspection, and testing techniques. Also, must have working knowledge of construction industry codes (ACI, API, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.). Certifications from AWS, ACI, API, ASNT, NACE, etc. are preferred.
