Job summary

The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is seeking a Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) RN to lead evidence-based quality initiatives for its Geriatric and Extended Care service. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing programs that elevate patient outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed as an RN.
• Proficiency in English for direct patient care.
• Experience leading quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and implement quality management and performance improvement programs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Track and analyze clinical pathways and quality measures, and drive improvements.
• Chair committees, represent the service in planning and alignment with goals.
