Job Details
The Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the ExactCare division. This role is responsible for managing quality-related event (QRE) reporting, monitoring compliance to quality management standards, supporting regulatory adherence, and collaborating across departments to improve service quality, patient safety, and performance outcomes. The QI Coordinator will also assist with internal and client-facing reporting, track and analyze performance data, participate in quality committee meetings, and help ensure a consistent, patient-centered approach to service delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Manage Quality Reporting Process:
    • Monitor closed QREs within the ticketing system to ensure investigations are finalized and properly documented
    • Collaborate with external teams to confirm accuracy, completeness, and resolution of reported events.
    • Verify data accuracy and completeness to support tracking, trending, and reporting.
    • Close tickets in alignment with established procedures and timelines.
    • Maintain data quality and reporting readiness through continuous system monitoring.
    • Generate and distribute monthly QRE reports for stakeholders and clients.
  • Quality and Compliance Support:
    • Maintain adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines by supporting AnewHealth quality and compliance efforts.
  • Performance Improvement Collaboration:
    • Partner with service line and department leaders to identify improvement opportunities, create and support in-service training, and deliver onboarding education.
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal and external performance improvement initiatives.
    • Support the collection and sharing of best practices across teams to enhance consistency and quality of service delivery
    • Contributes to action plans that address identified gaps in performance or compliance
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality initiatives with organizational goals and client expectations
  • Data Reporting & Analysis:
    • Generate and distribute quality and performance reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Monitor referral source reports, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Follow up on internal and external communications related to quality concerns.
  • Administrative Participation:
    • Coordinate and document monthly client communication reports.
    • Participate in QI meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
    • Support the development and updates of the annual QI Plan and Program.
  • Provide operational support to other business units during periods of high volume, as needed.

Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience required.
  • Experience in quality improvement or performance improvement in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
Certifications
  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), or Six Sigma certification.
  • Required: Pharmacy Technician Certification

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Travel

Travel may be required for special organization or department events, department team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other client engagements. This is a remote position.
