Job Title: Automation Engineer (Java programming Must)

Responsibilities

Support the testing of product features throughout the development cycle.
Work with engineers, team leads, and managers to deliver innovative testing solutions that meet market needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and realistic implementation schedules.
Help develop and execute testing strategies, test automation, and test engineering technologies.
Set up and manage test environments, including continuous integration jobs for applications under test.
Proactively recommend coding solutions and solve problems.
Work as part of an agile scrum team delivering high-quality software and solutions.
Test and automate in parallel with development activities.
Review both application and test code for peers in development and quality engineering.
Develop test APIs, utilities, and contribute to existing frameworks.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree + 6 years experience.
Experience as Java Developer, Java Programmer, or Java Production Support.
History of successful teamwork and production deployments in high-volume web environments.
Experience with Agile and/or RUP methodologies.
Strong communication skills.
Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client‑services environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
6+ years total experience as an engineer in a web environment.
Testing experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
