Job summary

The role requires reading structural drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specs; maintaining databases; and coordinating with inspectors to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality assurance traceability and proficiency with MS Office and QMS software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in quality assurance traceability.
• Ability to read structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiar with quality standards and fabrication documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs to determine traceability requirements.
• Read structural drawings, isometrics, welding symbols and specs.
• Input and file mill certificates to ensure material meets specs.
• Maintain databases for traceability and verification.
• Assist with assembling final data books for customers and archives.
• Interact with customer inspectors to resolve discrepancies.
