Job summary

Town Fair Tire is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join a mid-sized team of Software Developers, Data Scientists & Network Admins. The Tester’s primary role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house proprietary Software.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of manual testing experience on web-based applications and will participate in software deployment processes. The role also offers an entry-level opportunity to learn or improve skills with automation testing

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in manual software testing.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, testing principles and SDLC.
• Experience testing across web, mobile and desktop applications.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues with Product Owners and Developers.
• Ability to self-manage deliverables and communicate concerns.
• Ownership and autonomy to drive tasks end-to-end.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Gherkin automation and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Test in-house proprietary software for defects.
• Use Visual Studio and deployment tools for code deployments.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Gherkin-based automation scripts in C#.
• Drive assigned tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
• Raise concerns early in the SDLC and communicate user requirements to developers.
