Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a QA Tester (Manual and Automation) in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on hands-on testing across manual, automation, and AI-driven testing, with emphasis on Playwright automation and CI/CD integration.

You will design test cases, build robust test frameworks, and ensure quality in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manual and automation testing, strong Playwright experience, API testing skills, and familiarity with AI-based testing tools.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual and automation testing (3 years preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks with Playwright.
• Integrate tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform testing coverage.
• Leverage AI/ML-based testing tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
