About The Role

PUBG Studios Madison is seeking an Associate QA Tester for a one-year fixed-term position, with a preference for candidates available to work in a hybrid capacity from our Madison studio. This role is ideal for someone passionate about video games who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the quality of a new title in development. You will work closely with the QA team to identify issues, execute test plans, and ensure a seamless experience for players.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify game functionality and performance
• Perform ad-hoc testing to identify and log issues
• Conduct regression testing to ensure recent updates do not introduce new problems
• Learn internal workflows, game features, and in-game navigation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong interest in video games and development
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and provide feedback based on gameplay experience
  
  

Preferred

• High school diploma; some college coursework in relevant fields
• Background in Computer Science, Game Development, or related disciplines
• Familiarity with FPS and Battle Royale games on PC or console
