Job summary

RMantra Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to execute automated test suites across multiple environments in an onsite Arlington, VA role. You will design testing strategies for web apps, develop scripts in Selenium/Java, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in software testing, strong Agile/Scrum experience, and an active DOD TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly possible).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, 4+ years of software testing/QA experience required.
• Experience with Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber in test automation frameworks.
• Strong networking and OS knowledge; capable in a high op-temp, top secret environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and end-to-end testing of complex systems.
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly possible in future) and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Drive test automation best practices across the organization.

Execute Automated Test Suites Across Multiple Environments:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
• Design and implement testing strategies and methodologies for web applications
• Develop, document, and maintain functional, integration, security, and load/stress testing procedure
• Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues promptly, and work with the development team to resolve them
• Document and deliver an approach for automated acceptance testing, integration/regression testing, all new applications, and all new capabilities
• Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts developed in Selenium (Web based, Desktop, Mobile, API, and Database)
• Develop scenarios using Java, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver
• Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts developed in Selenium (Web based, Desktop, Mobile, API, and Database)
• Develop scenarios using Java, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver
• Develop and/or maintain automation scripts created in Selenium into the CI/CD cloud pipeline by utilizing tools like Bitbucket, GitLab or other approved DISA tools
• Enhance automation frameworks and collaborate on optimizing pipeline efficiency while adhering to established best practices
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Drive test automation best practices across the organization

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a relevant discipline and 4+ years of experience in software testing and Quality Assurance. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with Test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber
• Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
• Experience working in a high op-temp, top secret environment
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficiency in conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex information systems
• Knowledge of test engineering methodology
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
• Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI. May be asked to obtain CI Poly in future

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners.
