You will collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business users to validate functionality and data accuracy, oversee interfaces and data migration testing, and build comprehensive test plans, cases, and traceability

Qualifications

• 11+ years in QA/Test leadership roles.
• Hands-on data validation and ETL testing experience.
• Proven leadership in QA for EHR modules (clinical, scheduling, billing).
• Experience validating data migration from legacy EHR systems.

IDR is seeking a QA Test Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas.

This role involves leading quality assurance strategies for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation within the healthcare industry. The position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge health IT solutions, ensuring high standards of data integrity, compliance, and system functionality.

Position Overview for the QA Test Manager:

• Provide leadership for quality assurance strategy, planning, execution, and governance of healthcare IT projects.
• Ensure EHR workflows, data migration activities, and vendor releases meet business, clinical, regulatory, and project standards.
• Coordinate closely with IT teams, vendors, and business users to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
• Oversee testing of interfaces, data feeds, and downstream reporting impacts.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.

Requirements for the QA Test Manager:

• 11+ years of experience in QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager roles.
• Hands-on experience with data validation, data migration, and ETL testing.
• Proven experience leading functional testing across EHR modules including clinical, scheduling, and billing workflows.
• Expertise in validating data migration and conversion from legacy EHR systems.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira.
