Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (manual and automated).
• Proven experience testing VB.NET applications (Windows Forms, WPF) and understanding legacy codebases.
• Strong background in functional and system testing for modern, cloud-hosted web applications.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to verify backend data changes and perform data validation.
• Extensive hands-on experience using API client tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong proficiency in testing RESTful APIs (JSON payloads, HTTP status codes, auth).
• Experience with automated API testing frameworks (RestAssured, Newman, or Postman collections).
• Experience leveraging modern tools to generate test cases and automation fragments.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end, functional, regression, and integration testing on VB.NET desktop environments and modern web apps.
• Design, write, and execute test scripts for RESTful APIs, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Evaluate and implement modern testing tools to optimize test generation and automation workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using Jira and collaborate with developers.
• Create test cases, matrices, and acceptance criteria from technical documentation and legacy code logic.
