Job summary

Simera is seeking an Application Tester to ensure software quality across platforms. You will execute manual and automated tests, review requirements, and translate them into effective test cases and scenarios.

You will collaborate with developers and product teams, document defects, and help validate releases through functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing, with a focus on delivering reliable software. Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications and creating manual test cases.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
• English proficiency for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing.
