Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a QA Test Engineer in Boca Raton, FL to ensure high-quality web applications within an Agile environment. You will design, execute, and automate tests, translating requirements into comprehensive test cases and automation scripts.

The role emphasizes both manual and automated testing, SQL data validation, and collaboration with developers and product owners to support quality across the SDLC. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years in software QA, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Experience automating tests with Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with GitHub or other version control platforms.
• Basic experience with ELK or similar logging/monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and SQL/database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing in deployment.
• Familiarity with API testing and web QA best practices.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or other OO languages.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test coverage for web applications.
• Develop and enhances automated test solutions using established frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate new features and fixes.
• Execute back-end data validation using SQL queries.
