Automation Test Engineer

Location: Arlington, VA (remote)

Pay: From $42.00 per hour

Must Have:

• Experienced Automation Test Engineer
• Must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability; DHS HQ EOD required to start
• 4+ years of testing experience
• Experience with cucumber or similar test automation framework
• Experience with SQL and working in Linux
• Experience with testing Java Web Services / Spring Boot / Java EE
• Experience with Oracle DB / PostgreSQL DB / MySQL
• Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment
• Bachelor's degree required or an additional 4 years of related experience

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases using JIRA
• Automate test cases
• Support and provide technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
• Validate system enhancements and coordinate with QA and testers
• Work within a Scrum/Agile project lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product needs and implement tests
• Analyze data to report issues, determine defect severity, and prioritize tests
