Job summary

Bison® is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to quarantine non-conforming parts, document dispositions, and qualify products per procedures. You will inspect components, verify documentation, and coordinate with teams to resolve non-conformances.

Qualifications include 5–10 years of related experience, GD&T blueprint reading, and proficiency with inspection tools. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement across in-house and supplier parts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical degree or associates preferred.
• 5–10 years related experience or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in measuring and evaluating gears and gear forms.
• Able to read ANSI Y14.5 GD&T symbols from blueprints.
• Comfort with MS Office; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on all products and components to ensure conformance.
• Verify accompanying documentation meets requirements.
• Conduct roving shop floor inspections as needed.
• Perform NDT and destructive testing as required.
• Communicate non-conformances and collaborate on resolutions.
• Complete audits and document non-conformances in logs/reports.
• Follow safety requirements and perform duties as directed.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity where appropriate.
