TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Ogden, UT is hiring a QA Technician II for the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm, Mon–Fri with some Saturdays). You will lead quality improvements, analyze data, audit processes, and train staff to uphold HACCP and other quality standards.

The role requires 4–6 years of technical experience and strong communication skills. Starting pay is $28.33 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to food safety and product quality initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and report quality data (HACCP, Net Weights, EQA).
• Audit production processes to ensure quality procedures and programs are followed.
• Collaborate with production, QA technicians, and management to support quality system compliance.
• Train employees on quality programs, testing procedures, SPC, HACCP, AIB, charting, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and audit newly implemented quality programs for adoption and compliance.
• Lead end-of-shift QA review meetings to discuss quality concerns and root causes.
• Support food safety, food defense, and overall product quality initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

The QA Technologist II will use change skills to lead improvements in the quality application of the employees on the shift. This position will ensure the overall adherence to the quality standards and will work in conjunction with production supervisors to improve process controls and product quality. You will add value by performing the following duties including but not limited to:

• Analyze, interpret, and report quality data including HACCP, Net Weights, and EQA results
• Audit production processes to ensure quality procedures, testing, and programs are properly followed
• Work closely with production, QA technicians, and management to support quality system compliance
• Train employees on quality programs, testing procedures, SPC, HACCP, AIB, charting, and housekeeping standards
• Monitor and audit newly implemented quality programs to ensure consistent adoption and compliance
• Conduct end-of-shift QA review meetings to discuss quality concerns, consumer complaints, and root cause analysis
• Support food safety, food defense, and overall product quality initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

Pay

Starting at $28.33/Hr.
