Job summary

Actalent in Woodburn, OR is seeking a QA Technician (Level I/II) to audit production activities, monitor product quality, and ensure compliance with food safety standards on a fast-paced production floor. The role supports continuous improvement and requires attention to detail and documentation on the production line.

The position is permanent, onsite in Woodburn with a swing shift from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM. It involves GMP/HACCP duties, allergen reviews, and data entry across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• QA experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to monitor and record production and quality data.
• Experience performing inspections and quality checks in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping with attention to detail.
• Ability to escalate HACCP issues and food safety risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines and perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform temperature, weight, size, labeling, packaging, color, and bone checks.
• Record HACCP temperatures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Enter production and quality data into company systems timely and accurately.
• Identify and elevate HACCP deviations, foreign material findings, and QA holds to leadership.
• Enforce GMPs on the production floor and coach others on compliance.
