Job summary

Qualifications

• English communication with peers and management required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be self-motivated and professional at all times.
• Willing to work overtime as production demands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production areas follow food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Understand production processes.
• Perform calibration and analytical testing (scales, pH meter, thermometers, etc.).
• Communicate non-conformances to supervisor and lead.
• Conduct receiving procedures and pre-operational inspections.
• Perform bakery manufacturing procedure observations.
• Conduct verification checks with labels, metal detector, and finished product specs.
• Perform changeover checks and release equipment after allergen production.
• Understand and follow hold procedures and secure items when required.
• Support SQF and customer quality requirements; reinforce GMPs.
• Perform equipment and environmental swabs as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
