Akkodis is seeking a QA Technician I for a Contract job with a client in Portland, OR. Responsibilities include performing product sampling and visual inspections and verifying that components meet established quality requirements.

Rate Range: $21/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Technician I job responsibilities include:

• Perform visual inspections and sample products to ensure they meet established quality standards.

• Monitor and verify manufacturing processes to maintain control over product quality.

• Record inspection results and report any deviations from quality requirements.

• Ensure adherence to GMP and ISO 9000 standards throughout the production process.

• Conduct regular checks of work areas to confirm cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality protocols.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the site’s quality systems and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in biology, Physics, Mathematics, or Science Education.

• Entry-level role; prior experience in a quality or manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9000 standards.

• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills and the ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks accurately.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
