Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to assist in developing and maintaining quality systems across the organization. You will support audits, investigations, and action plans to improve processes and compliance.

Responsibilities include documenting quality records, delivering staff training, and ensuring safety procedures are followed to promote a strong safety culture. This role is safety-sensitive and requires teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Ability to pass required safety training such as Lock Out Tag Out, Hazard Communication, ISO, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Participate in the development and delivery of quality training programs for staff.
  • Communicate issues and/or concerns to senior QA techs and management.
  • Support the maintenance of quality management systems and certifications.
  • Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed to foster a safety culture.
