Job summary

CraftMark Bakery is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician - Days (Level 5) to support product quality and food safety at our Indiana facility. This role involves sample preparation and analysis, data entry, and holding non‑conforming products. The position reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in QA or manufacturing, with an Associate degree in a related field preferred, and proficiency in Excel. Lifting up to 30 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of QA lab or manufacturing experience.
• Associate degree in food science or related field preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake and analyze product samples during production and postproduction.
• Enter data into QA databases and escalate non‑conforming products for corrective action.
• Perform line and pre/post-operational inspections and environmental swabbing as directed.
• Maintain calibration records and basic lab equipment maintenance.
• Initiate holds for non‑compliant products and inform leadership of trends.
• Conduct metal detector investigations and packaging verifications.
• Collect and ship samples for outside analysis.
