Job summary

CraftMark Bakery is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician - Nights (Level 5) to uphold quality and food safety standards across our Indianapolis operation. You will manage product releases, hold processing, incident investigations, audits, and data maintenance to support continuous improvement.

The role includes sample preparation, data entry, line inspections, swabbing, and coordinating retain samples for investigations, while ensuring accurate records and timely escalation of issues to

Qualifications

Minimum of two years QA lab experience or two years of manufacturing experience.
Associates degree in food science or related field preferred.
Proficient with data entry and quality databases.

Responsibilities

Prepare, bake and analyze product samples during production.
Enter data into quality databases and escalate non-compliant products.
Conduct line inspections, audits and environmental/ATP/allergen swabbing as directed.
Maintain records and initiate holds for non-compliant products.
Inform leadership of quality trends and product safety concerns.
Perform metal detector investigations and label/packaging verifications.
Coordinate sample collection for outside analysis and support QA projects.
