Job summary

Lincoln Premium Poultry is seeking a QA/QC coordinator to help ensure product quality and safety of products produced. Responsibilities include documenting HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and product labeling; communicating non-compliance issues to production managers; and following company procedures and customer specifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Familiar with HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and product labeling.
  • Able to read and follow instructions and company policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication.
  • Able to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create and provide documentation for HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.
  • Read and follow company policies and product specifications.
  • Coordinate with USDA and communicate product statuses to managers.
  • Provide backup and training to new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including HACCP, USDA, SSOPs.
  • Calculate product compliance percentages and enter data.
  • Gather products for micro testing and verify codes, ingredients, and labels.
  • Document product information and develop actions to prevent defects.
  • Work effectively in a team and communicate professionally.
