Job summary

Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC is seeking a QA Technician at the Acme Street plant to support daily quality assurance tasks and regulatory compliance. You will perform inspection, sampling, and data collection while ensuring adherence to GMP, SSOP, and HACCP procedures.

The role requires strong English communication, ability to work varied shifts in a USDA-inspected facility, and capacity to analyze results and take corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures with PPE.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and speak).
• Ability to work extended hours Monday through Saturday with overtime as needed.
• Must complete training: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rotation of tasks (temperatures, box tare weights, sampling, and grade changes).
• Review GMP/SSOP/SOP paperwork for accuracy.
• Conduct pre-op/condensation/swabs.
• Monitor compliance with food safety and quality procedures; report deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections for spec conformance.
• Use production reports to gather, record, and analyze inspection data (weights, temperatures, grades).
• Collect samples for lab analysis.
• Interact with USDA as needed.
• Interpret test results against specifications and control limits; document findings and actions.
• Must be able to perform strength level 3 work.
• Duties may include other related tasks as needed.
