The pay range for this position is $22.20-$29.90/hr., depending on role, level, and location. GENERAL PURPOSE

Inspect printed materials and cartons at various production stages to ensure they meet quality and production standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain accurate in-process inspection records.
• Inspect in-process material using statistical sampling plans.
• Perform testing including scanner challenge and scale verification.
• Visually inspect printing, die cutting, and gluing for quality standards.
• Inspect pallets before shipping; accept or place on Q.C. Hold.
• Document and move materials on Q.C. Hold properly.
• Communicate defects to packers, feeders, and mechanics for correction.
• Check job standards and specifications before production.
• Conduct line clearance and documentation before starting production.
• Establish and monitor case counts for jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to give directions.
• Knowledge of GMPs and SOPs for Quality.
• Basic math skills and calculator use.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Pass basic reading, ruler, and color hue tests.
• Ability to differentiate acceptable/unacceptable materials.
• Maintain good attendance and willingness to work overtime.
• Perform all functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
