Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a QA Supervisor, Product Release for biologics vaccines in animal health. You will oversee release activities to ensure compliance with USDA 9 CFR and international regulations and supervise documentation and batch release processes.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality Control, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to maintain inspection readiness and supply continuity, while leading continuous improvement in QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology or related field.
• 5+ years QA/QC experience in biologics or veterinary vaccines.
• Experience with GMP, USDA regulations, and product release processes.
• Proficiency with ERP (JDE), LIMS and QMS; strong leadership and communication.

• supervise and coordinate product release operations, review batch records, ensure documentation accuracy, support regulatory submissions, investigate deviations, and oversee warehouse release processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Biology, Microbiology, or related field; 5+ years in QA/QC within biologics or veterinary vaccine manufacturing; experience in GMP, USDA regulations, and product release processes; proficiency in ERP (JDE), LIMS, and QMS; strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred

• USDA veterinary biologics knowledge, ASQ certifications, Lean Six Sigma, and supervisory experience.
