Job summary

Ceva Animal Health seeks a QA Supervisor to lead product release activities for biological vaccines, ensuring compliance with USDA, 9 CFR, GMP, and internal SOPs. You will oversee documentation review, labeling verification, and warehouse release operations while coordinating with Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC or related quality functions in biologics, pharma, biotech or veterinary vaccine manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating quality activities, reviewing GMP documentation, and supporting product release/disposition.
• Experience supervising, leading, mentoring, or training personnel is preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA, 9 CFR, GMP, and other regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Product Release personnel to promote a compliant, quality-focused environment.
• Coordinate daily product release activities for timely, compliant reviews and release of materials and finished products.
• Review submission of serials to the USDA per regulatory requirements.
• Review batch records, production docs, and quality records for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist investigations of deviations, discrepancies, and quality events with timely resolutions.
• Maintain material status and data integrity in ERP/QMS systems (e.g., JDE).
• Review and approve Certificates of Analysis and release documentation.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Manufacturing, QC, Supply Chain to satisfy all release requirements.
• Oversee warehouse release activities, ensure GDP, cold chain, and export compliance.
• Monitor release metrics and drive process improvements; support audits and inspections.
• Provide training and coaching to Product Release personnel; perform other duties.
