Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee FSQA personnel and quality programs on the assigned shift. The role includes planning and implementing the quality management program, directing product specification testing, and ensuring food safety procedures are followed.

You’ll lead training, collaborate with operations and USDA personnel, and perform root cause analyses to improve customer quality programs.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in QA/FSQA is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP, SSOP, and USDA/OSHA regulations is a plus.
• Experience with Kronos for timekeeping is relevant if mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA team activities and ensure proper implementation of food safety and quality programs (HACCP, SSOP).
• Promote safety and compliance, coordinate training (e.g., LOTO) and report unsafe acts.
• Recommend and communicate quality procedures; provide classroom and hands-on staff training.
• Collaborate with operations and USDA personnel; maintain relationships and regulatory compliance.
• Support issue resolution through root cause analysis and ensure customer quality programs are followed.
• Manage hourly QA technicians, including scheduling and timekeeping in Kronos; execute tasks from QA leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
