Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee the FSQA team and implement the quality management program on the assigned shift. The role includes daily execution of product specification testing, food safety and quality procedures, and coordination with USDA and operations to maintain compliance.

The candidate will lead training, improve procedures, perform root-cause analysis, and manage hourly QA technicians with Kronos timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred; or 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Certifications: GFSI (BRC specifically) training preferred.
• Experience: Supervisory experience required, preferably in poultry processing or slaughter operations. Must have an understanding of USDA and OSHA regulations.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
