Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to support sterile compounding, IV admixtures, and complex pharmaceutical tasks. This 1.0 FTE role operates out of the South Lake Union campus, typically Monday–Friday with periodic holiday shifts to meet clinical needs.

Strong teamwork and accuracy are essential for patient safety and regulatory compliance. Qualifications include WA state Pharmacy Technician certification, high school diploma, and at least two years

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington State pharmacy technician certification.
• Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of intravenous admixtures.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex duties within the pharmacy department.
• Interpret, evaluate, and summarize information and datasets.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in and outside pharmacy.
• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Work independently and within teams to complete tasks.
• Document results clearly and concisely.
• Generate and present reports to Pharmacy Operations Manager or Director of Pharmacy.
• Complete routine and periodic environmental sampling of sterile compounding areas.
