Job summary

KeyLogic, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in Oak Ridge, TN to provide expertise in QA of OSTI web applications, including a major electronic workflow system and public search portals.

The role focuses on manual testing, testing after upgrades, cross-browser test cases, and collaboration with development to ensure quality and timely defect resolution, with preference for experience in automated testing and scripting.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in information science, CS, IS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–3 years relevant QA experience preferred.
• Experience with API and front-end quality assurance testing.
• Experience with automated testing practices.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or Bash) for QA automation.
• Experience with software or web application QA testing.
• Familiarity with multiple browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome).
• Experience in agile project management environment desirable.
• Dedication to outstanding customer service; excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance for multiple application releases, monitoring testing activities and deliverables.
• Establish and refine processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Maintain test cases and strategies (cross-browser testing, multiple user scenarios, API integration testing).
• Support test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability.
• Work with developers and management to address issues/defects promptly.
• Work closely with developers to establish a testing feedback loop.
• Contribute to written policies/procedures for application testing and assist in maintaining compliance documentation.
• Communicate test progress and results to developers and others.
• Other duties may be assigned.
