Job summary

RiseMe seeks a QA Specialist to support the DC Government client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on functional and automated testing, test planning, and collaboration with development teams to ensure product quality across web and portal platforms.

The candidate should have strong experience in browser-based testing, understanding of SQL and Oracle databases, and familiarity with HP Quality Center/ALM. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT or related field.
• Experience with HP Quality Center/ALM.
• Significant experience testing across browser web applications.
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design test cases and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across platforms (mobile, web, portal frameworks).
• Develop and maintain functional and regression tests; create automated test scripts and test plans.
• Coordinate testing with development teams/vendors and monitor testing activities and deliverables.
• Review design specifications and technical documentation to ensure test coverage.
• Produce testing summary reports and communicate results to management.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely defect resolution and prioritization.
• Provide testing support for all software applications tested by the SQA team.
• Support multiple releases and ensure QA environments are maintained.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or related field
