Job summary

Brady Martz is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of internal software applications. You will design and maintain automated and manual testing, manage realistic test data, and partner with Development and Product throughout the software lifecycle.

You will own testing through UAT, write clear non-technical test scripts, triage defects with reproducible steps, and validate fixes to prevent regressions, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate test

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relevant fields include CS, IS, data science, engineering, math, statistics, accounting, finance, economics.
• Understand relational data models, schemas, keys, and data states.
• Curious about business operations; learn unfamiliar domains quickly by asking effective questions.
• Read TypeScript and PHP to understand application behavior and test code validity.
• Software testing lifecycle: functional, regression, integration, exploratory, UAT.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test coverage across Angular frontends and Symfony/PHP APIs.
• Maintain frontend unit tests in Vitest and extend coverage as features evolve.
• Create and maintain Foundry factories and test data for automated testing.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing when needed.
• Own testing through UAT, writing clear test scripts for product review.
• Triage, document, reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate early with Development and Product to define acceptance criteria.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test design, data, and script authoring while validating outputs.
• Contribute to quality standards and release-readiness criteria.
