Job summary

Brady Martz is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of internal software applications. The role designs and maintains automated and manual testing, creates realistic test data, and partners with Development and Product as a final quality gate before release.

The successful candidate will own testing across Angular frontends and Symfony/PHP APIs, with responsibilities spanning unit tests in Vitest, Foundry data setup, and UAT leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a quantitative field; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong ability to understand relational data models and valid data states.
• Ability to read TypeScript and PHP to evaluate test code and AI outputs.
• Solid knowledge of the software testing lifecycle: functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and UAT.
• Experience with AI tools for test case creation and data generation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated and manual test coverage across Angular frontends and Symfony/PHP APIs.
• Maintain and extend the frontend unit test suite in Vitest as features evolve.
• Create and maintain Foundry factories and test data for realistic development examples.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify quality or usability issues.
• Own testing through user acceptance testing (UAT) with clear scripts and scenarios.
• Triaging, documenting, and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps; verify fixes.
• Partner with Development and Product early to review specifications and criteria.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test design, data, and script authoring while validating outputs.
• Help define quality standards, coverage expectations, and release-readiness criteria.
