Job summary

Ninth Brain in Michigan seeks a QA Software Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will develop and execute test plans, collaborate with developers, and document defects to deliver a superior user experience.

The role requires 2–4 years in software testing, knowledge of QA methodologies, and experience with .NET and DevOps practices. Remote work is possible, with emphasis on thorough testing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Experience working remotely for 6+ months.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types.
Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders to define testing objectives.
Proficiency in debugging techniques and Agile methodologies.
Experience with testing in the .NET framework and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing: develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to identify defects.
Collaboration: work with Project Managers, Developers, and Designers to understand requirements and ensure integration of new features.
Problem Solving: identify, document, track defects, and help troubleshoot issues with the team.
Process Improvement: continuously improve QA processes with best practices and trends.
Reporting: provide clear test outcome reports with bug severity and impact.
Client Focus: ensure final product meets client expectations and UX goals.
