Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist I for a prominent client in North Chicago, IL. This contract role focuses on documenting and investigating non-medical product complaints and ensuring adherence to GMP/GLP and good documentation practices.

Responsibilities include data interpretation, procedure compliance, and cross-functional support to improve QA processes, with a 6-month assignment and potential extension based on performance and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or technology.
• Background in cGMP environment is preferred.
• Experience with sample testing or sample management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document, investigate, and review non-medical product complaints.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and Good Documentation Practices.
• Identify and initiate appropriate exception documents per procedures.
• Support process improvements and team objectives.
• Maintain a safe, compliant laboratory environment and training certificates.
