Job summary

SENSAPURE INC is seeking a QA Support role to assist in sampling and testing materials to uphold food safety and quality standards. The position collaborates with QA to review testing requirements and ensure proper sampling techniques.

You may assist with customer complaints and CAPA investigations, and contribute to continuous QA functions across the program.

Qualifications

  • This role requires solid data analysis and the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Familiarity with GMP/FDA regulatory expectations and food safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Sample and submit raw materials and finished goods for quality testing.
  • Follow SQF, HACCP and SOP policies to maintain food safety standards.
  • Assist in investigating Customer Complaints, CAPAs, Supplier Claims and recalls.
  • Manage testing requirements and specifications for inbound/outbound products.
  • Participate in out-of-spec material review and disposition.
  • Create SOPs, work instructions, logs, and related documentation.
  • Perform other QA functions as needed.

Job description

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance program through sampling and testing materials. The role will review testing requirements and observe proper sampling techniques to maintain food safety and quality expectations. They may assist with customer complaint and CAPA investigations as well as other QA functions as needed.

Main Job Functions
  • Sample and submit raw materials and finished goods for quality testing.
  • Participate in implementing and maintaining food safety policies outlined by SQF, HACCP and SOP documents.
  • Assist in investigating Customer Complaints, CAPAs, Supplier Claims, and recalls as needed.
  • Manage testing requirements and specifications for inbound raw materials and outbound finished products.
  • Participate in Out of Specification material review and disposition.
  • Create SOP’s, work instructions, logs, and other documentation as needed.
  • Other duties and functions may be assigned.
Education

High School diploma

College education preferred

Work Experience

1-3 years of experience in GMP/FDA regulated industry preferred.

Work Environment

This position frequently works in an office environment and frequent exposure to the manufacturing floor. Seldom exposure to noise and fumes, dust or other airborne particles. Seldom work near moving mechanical parts or powered industrial trucks. Potential exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent sitting, use of hands, talking, hearing/listening, tasting/smelling, standing, walking, bending/stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
